The plant will grow and develop, bring forth boughs and leaves and form buds while still the storm and the heavy fighting. But while the man's whole personality had been dissolved and vanished, while the divine fragment which has created does not consider it as a mere instrument for experimentation and experience, while all nature has not expired and is in subdued by your higher self, can not open the flower.
Then will come a calm such as that in tropical countries follows a rain, when Nature works so swiftly that you can see the action. A similar quiet spirit will be broadcast on fatigued. And in the deep silence the mysterious event will occur that will test that found the path. Call it what you will, is a voice that speaks where there is nobody to speak, is a messenger who comes, a messenger without form or substance, or is the flower of the soul that has opened. There is no metaphor that can describe it. But it can be felt, seek and desire, even amid the fury of the storm. The silence may last only a moment, or it may last a thousand years, but it will end. However, you will lie its strength. Again and again has to be and win the battle. The rest of nature can only be an interval. [5]
